Where are we now?
Donald J. Trump is abandoning the ancient, calcified boomer-leaders of the past and picking brilliant and dynamic young men and women for his cabinet picks. These seem to me to be people who are ready, willing, and able to create reform. Every choice is someone who has been a target of the deep state machine and corrupt intelligence apparatus. Not only are they populist leaders who believe in the ideals of America and in our future but they are highly capable, motivated, and not to be easily intimidated. It appears we aren’t going to see the weak shills of the Old Republican party like Jeff Sessions, nor are we seeing the corrupt Neo-Cons and Deep State operatives like Mike Pompeo and others who sabotaged Trump’s first term. It seems old dogs can learn new tricks and Trump learned from the traitors he tolerated in his first term. That does not mean that I whole-heartedly agree with each pick but let’s look at a couple that are important.
I do agree that instead of fat-cat generals we need to have someone in charge who actually knows what its like to lead in a combat zone.
Freedom Troopers, the fight is NOT over with the election count. Indeed, it is just beginning and whether we can wrest our Republic from a corrupt “elitist” oligarchy and restore it to a government of, by, and for the people remains to be seen. The deep state shills have won the first round when they replaced the aging Mitch McConnell with another Deep State Clone of Thune to be Senate Majority Leader. We need to be “on top” of Thune all the way but we can expect him to oppose Trump’s reforms at every turn. Anyone who McConnell likes is going to be a bad pick. McConnell was one of the weak-willed and corrupt Republicans that gave the Republican Party a bad name and Thune has given off never-Trumper vibes that show he is not in tune with the will of the people in this election. McConnell was married to a Chinese National whose family was still at the mercy of the Chinese Communist Party and I never understood why Kentucky kept sending him to the Senate except that he had all the backing and corruption that was inherent in the Swamp and the Deep State apparatus as well as the support of the Chinese Communist Party (as his actions and voting constantly demonstrated.) He will not be missed by SabersEdge or anyone interested in Liberty and Freedom. But his replacement by Thune is a concern for anyone who wants to see a government of, by, and for the people.
Whether we succeed in breaking the power of this corrupt oligarchy will depend on if we love our freedom more than they love power and in our ability to fight longer and harder than the overlords of corruption and corporate tyrants who fight to maintain their tyranny.
You may have already seen that the search engines of YouTube and Google are piling on the accusations and minimizing postings that are friendly to Trump’s picks and such malfeasance is normal fare for patriots today. So, I recommend these videos about Pete Hegseth that are below.
I am quite hopeful, Freedom Troopers, and I must admit I was wrong when I thought the corrupt apparatus may already have enough control that we could not overthrow their tyranny at the polls. We did and it was “too big to rig.” I no-longer have access to classified reports and have to sift through the morass of lies and half-truths found in the available media and Ground News is a help in doing this. This is simply the paradigm I must work in. I freely admit that I was wrong, and I was beginning to lose faith in my fellow Americans. Bombarded by constant woke propaganda I began to fear that the the “silent majority” was going to, (like the Russians of 1918, the Italians of the 1920s, and the Germans of the 1930s,) remain silent and allow the totalitarian ideology of the malicious psychopaths and collectors of neuroses take control of our country while I feared too many would remain silent and kept their heads in the sand. While I thought Trump would probably win, I was afraid that the only people willing to fight for freedom were the thousands of Freedom Troopers who gather here with me at SabersEdge.Online and that the victory would be so slim that they could play games and deny the people’s mandate for change and freedom. I prayed that I was wrong and God, as he always does when I’m wrong, hit me with a clue-by-four with the magnitude of the Trump victory in the 2024 election. Now we must ensure the silent majority remains awake and active for the fight to Restore the Republic.
Our next step must be to get in the counter-revolutionaries who will overturn the Neo-Marxist and Anti-American agenda of the Leftists and restore the Republic our founders envisioned. It will not be easy because the parade of usual lies (like we saw against the nominees for the Supreme Court in prior years have already started with half-truths and innuendos and precious few details. Why do they always include accusations of sexual misbehavior – you would think they were all like P Diddy or the other influencers who supported Harris.
Let’s look at who Trump has picked to restore our military: Pete Hegseth, a twenty-year veteran of the US Military and combat infantry officer. Let’s start to counter the media and deep state campaigns against him.
The View wasted no time starting to spread malicious lies and misinformation about: Peter Hegseth. He is a 40-something military veteran and author of The War on Warriors: Behind the Betrayal of the Men Who Keep Us Free (2024); The Battle for the American Mind: Uprooting a Century of Miseducation (2022); American Crusade (2020); and In the Arena (2016). I suggest, if you really want to know where he stands you get these books and read his own words. He is the recipient of the Combat Infantryman Badge (which – when I was in meant he had to have at least 60 days actually in combat,) Twice he was awarded the Bronze Star (which is awarded for heroic achievement or performance, or meritorious service in a combat zone,) he was also twice awarded the Army Commendation Medal. I remember a Sergeant Major told me once to never minimize any award or recognition you get from the military. He told me to think of all the people that I knew who deserved awards and never received them. It is all the more remarckable, he said, when the Army does get it right and grants an award. Hegseth was also awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan CAMPAIGN Medal, Iraq CAMPAIGN Medal, Global War on Terror Service Medal, and the Expert Infantryman Badge (to be awarded this badge the recipient must undergo extensive testing and proven performance in the skills of an 11B Infantryman or proficiency in the Special Forces – like the Green Beret – I am quite sure that Nick Freitas State Senator of Virginia also has this award).
So, I was understandably miffed with that presumptuous fruitcake Joy Behar dared to compare her service in media and on the View with his heroic service to this nation. Like most Veterans, I respond poorly to stolen valor and I have had quite enough of these Democratic traitors who would never fight for our flag and who would flee in terror and cowardice if America was ever attacked, who dare to criticize the brave men and women who have actually risked their lives defending this nation.
It is an insult not only to my father and uncles, my sons, and my friends, but everyone who has served whether they were ordered to a combat zone or not. In each case, they followed orders and served where they were sent. Joy Behar serves only herself and the whining harpies on the view. Unlike Kamala Harris Pete Hegseth really was actually born into the American Middle Class, his father Brian was a Basketball Coach and both Brian and Penny are of Norwegian descent – not at all unusual for a Minnesotan. He played High School football and basketball and was valedictorian of the class of 1999. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (man after my own heart,) from Princeton University, wrote for The Princeton Tory magazine and played basketball for the Princeton Tigers. He received a Master’s Degree of Public Policy from John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. (And Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar dare to compare themselves to him.) As a graduate of Princeton and Harvard you might think he was “one of them” but he is not. The Swamp won’t tolerate anyone who thinks for themselves and Pete does so.
He is nothing like Milley and Austin and that is a good thing.
After Graduation from Harvard Pete Hegseth was commissioned an Infantry Officer in the Minnesota National Guard and in 2004 his unit was called to Guantanamo Bay Naval Base as part of the mobilization in response to the attack on the Twin Towers in 2001 in the “War on Terror.” His unit was part of the operational control of 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry, 101st Airborne Division (“The Screaming Eagles” a unit with impeccable credentials going back to D-Day and World War II (see the excellent movies “The Longest Day,” “A Bridge Too Far,” and the “Battle of the Bulge to get an idea of the history of the 101st.) The 101st has been referred to as “the tip of the spear” and I would say that makes him a bit more qualified for Secretary of Defense than an aging harpy (although harpies can be dangerous if the stories are true.) Don’t be confused, the unit history is to give you an idea of the type of people Hegseth has served with – he was not in World War II or Vietnam. But, as in my own service in the 8th Cavalry and other veterans know unit pride is very real. I don’t think I have ever made a trip to the VA Hospital where I didn’t run across some Veteran with a cap or patch for the unit he or she served with or the ship they served on. And, of course, I myself wear my grey stetson with my unit crests on it and the crossed sabers with the “8” in it for the 8th Cavalry and the feather plume behind the folded up brim on the right side. Yes, unit pride is real.
Upon returning from Cuba, then Lieutenant Hegseth volunteered to serve in the war zone of Iraq as an infantry platoon leader and later as a Civil-Military Operations Officer. In 2012 he also deployed to Afghanistan as a Captain. Captain Hegseth served as the senior Counterinsurgency instructor at the Counterinsurgency Training Center in Kabul, Iraq and promoted to Major. (In my mind this makes him ideal for rooting out Marxist subversives in our military.) Later, in the Biden-sponsored witch hunt to purge the military of “right wing” soldiers he was linked to what they called “right wing groups” and had “extremist views.” You know, like the view that the Constitution of the United States is the basis for all law and authority in this country and that we should get back to it? That is considered a “far right view” by Homeland Security.
Now, I have heard the lies that this is “a conspiracy theory” but I retired from Homeland Security and I ran background checks on immigrants who applied for status and I received a list from state agencies that listed beliefs such as that, display of the Betsy Ross flag, or “Don’t Tread on Me” and other patriotic actions as being “signs of possible extremism.” So, it is true and the accusations that these are conspiracy theories” are lies that simply exist to throw you off. Remember, that term itself was invented by the intel agencies to manage their control of information. How can these be “conspiracy theories” when at this very moment people are in prison because of these things?
Another “extreme view” is that Hegseth believes that he should keep his oath to “Preserve and Protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic”? Something that men like Milley and Austin seem to have forgotten? He also has a Jerusalem Cross tattoo and a “We the People” tattoo. We the People? That idea is only dangerous to tryants and not real Americans and the Jerusalem Cross was the symbol of Chrsitians in the middle ages. It was a “cross potent” in that it had more than one cross in the design to emphasize the power of good over evil. But the athiest Deep State knows nothing of faith and it is hostile to God in every way.
He is pro Israel, which I as a Christian, am as well. This is just another reason the anti-semetic Democrats hate him, . He said in 2018 at a Conference in Jerusalem that “there is no reason why the miracle of the re-establishment of the Temple on the Temple Mount in not possible.” This is raised by anti-Christians as an extremist statement but it is a key belief to all Christians who believe in the prophecies of the Bible (re-establishing the Temple of Solomon is a key event that must occur before the return of Christ, the Messiah, to Earth and is prophesied repeatedly in both Christian and Jewish literature including the Bible.) Far from an extremist statement it is a core belief of Jews and Christians both, and if you don’t believe that I would question whether you could even be called a Jew or a Christian as it seems fundamental to both belief systems.
Politically he has backed Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and Donald Trump and frequently criticizes the democrats as well as the Russian Conspiracy Hoax and has appeared on Dan Bongino’s show (maybe Dan Bongino – A Secret Service officer could bring professionalism back to the leadership of the Secret Service as well.) Hegseth has served as the executive Director for Concerned Veterans for America and Vets for Freedom which shows that he has civil leadership and organizing abilities as well as military.
The left continues to spread misinformation about his “far right agenda,” defending “war criminals,” and him spreading “COVID conspiracy theories” (which increasingly seem to be coming true as investigation continues. Further, the left, with their “worship of experts” prefer that only “Swamp-born Generals” like I believe Milley and Austin to be – those who will betray our soldiers by supporting a Woke military and allowing fiascos like Afghansitan withdrawal to occur – or, as Milley did, call our enemies in the CCP and promise to betray America and tell them if Trump is thinking of moving against their interests some how. Milley is so clueless as to what a “real American” would do that he considers the Military independent and above Civilian control and felt he could betray the President and the people. Such fascist behavior is repeatedly shown to be the norm on the side of the Leftists but NOT what true Americans and Patriots would do. The Left and the Swamp will do whatever they can to block Pete Hegseth and Austin and Milley’s witch hunt for “un-woke” officers have extended Obama’s purge of “un-woke” generals down to the level of Colonel’s and Majors (as I have noted in other articles.) Pete Hegseth was caught in just such a snare of deep state corruption and hollow accusation so expect to hear those accusations resurface.
or any other nominee who might help Make the American Military Great Again and actually focus, as Pete says repeatedly, on “war-fighting” instead of political agendas and they will try to trick well-meaning people and Rhino Republicans into doing the same by flooding the media with lies and half truths. Be ready for them to try to smear him as a fascist, extremist, and a war criminal. Write your congressmen and senators to support his appointment to make our military great again and refocus on fighting wars instead of political and gender politics. I want you, Freedom Troopers, to be able to see past their lies and to stand for what is right.
