While this may sound like hyperbole, I assure you it is not. The stakes today are that high. As Ronald Reagan once said, “If we lose freedom here, we have nowhere to flee to.” This is where everyone in the world seeks to flee to in order to escape tyranny, oppression, and hopelessness. We need to fight to preserve this haven of freedom on behalf of all the world so they have a place they can legally flee to and seek asylum, and we have a place of freedom and safety for our children to live in.

Welcome Freedom Troopers, if you are new here, we use this analogy because Liberty (not license), and our God-given rights are what we are all about here and a trooper is the proper term for a cavalryman. You will see that I talk a lot about Communism. Communist totalitarianism is what we fought against in the Cold War and when I finally retired from Immigration/DHS I thought we had kicked its teeth in. Later, when I began seeing the Neo-Marxist DIE (Diversity Inclusion and Equity) philosophy everywhere I realized it was just a repackaging of the Communist menace that had gone underground, rebranded itself, and returned to contine its battle against freedom and truth. It still seeks to destroy America, Freedom, and true diversity of thought and culture everywhere. So, I came out of retirement and started this site.
Full disclosure I am also a Christian Pastor, and I believe in the Hegelian View that the only Truth is Truth grounded in knowledge and understanding of the Divine One and that Providence is actively working in life to express freedom, individuality, and true diversity. This was, in my opinion, best expressed by our founders and more succinctly in Star Trek with the Vulcan philosophy of IDIC: the philosophy of Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations. This is the cornerstone of American ideals and an anathema to Communists who demand that everyone act and think the same, like in George Orwell’s 1984. Make no mistake, the Woke Mind Virus (as Gad Saad calls it,) are Neo-Marxist lies repackaged to subvert our age and, as they taught us in CI School the best way to fight it is by the truth of the American Political Philosophy which overcomes their lies with truth, history, and faith in Providence.
Cavalry is used to fighting fearlessly against superior odds although the 2024 election proved we are in the majority,) there is still a major fight ahead of us. We can no longer afford to be a silent majority it is time we follow French Cavalry General Joachim (the Lightning) Murat and “Ride to the Sound of the Guns” and engage our communist enemies in philosophical and verbal battle wherever we may find them. Originally I was going to use my intel training and investigative skills to research and expose the lies the media and elite oligarchy spreads to keep us fighting each other and protect their power and control. I was going to write the articles here at SabersEdge.Online and publish my notes and sources in Patreon. After the first year it was obvious that very few, if any, were actually interested in what I consider to be essential when listening to any argument: “What are your sources of information?” Recording and tracking down all my sources for publication is a lot of work (as any researcher or scholar knows,) so I stopped wasting my time on that. I can totally see that listing sources are not very exciting and I am one of the few people I know that read all of the endnotes in a book as I go through it and again when I am done and highlight books in the Bibliography that I want to buy and read. VIDEOS: Instead of publishing my notes I try to look for videos that express ideas that my research has convinced me are true. Let me be clear. I am not just giving you my opinions. There are enough uneducated opinions on YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook. As they said in the army: “Opinions are like A$$holes everyone has one and they all stink.” I am giving you my analysis as an intelligence professional, trained analyst, and trained investigator. The videos are NOT where I get my ideas from. I read 4-6 books a month and watch or read news from India, Europe, Japan, Al Jazeera, Israel, Turkey, Epoch Times, Daily Wire, Post Millenial, and many, many others. I subcribe to US Homeland Security, Border Patrol, US Army, Bundeswehr, and many, many other civilian and military agencies information feeds. I then analyze this information and try to determine what is the truth of a situation or surrounding an event. I am not perfect and I do make mistakes, but I put a lot more work into this than you or your friends probably have time for. And I have a pretty good track record. My intelligence reports have been used by the ACSI (Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence who is not the CSI) to brief the President of the United States. In the mid 1980s I predicted that within ten years the Soviet Union would collapse because its economy could not survive the weight of its military expenditure, just as we cannot survive the weight of the debt the Neo-Cons and Leftists have saddled America with. In addition, we have to realize that these are our nations enemies. Jesus and Abraham Lincoln agree, and we need to act on it: “A house divided against itself cannot stand but must surely fall [Mark 3:25].” These people are subversive. They are not exercising free speech they are subversive and enemies of everything we hold dear. They are Neo-Marxist violent revolutionaries and enemies of Our Flag, Our Constitution, Our Declaration of Independence, Our History, Our Way of Life, Our Freedom, Our Rights, even Our History itself and Our People and Our Children. We cannot let them continue to spread their poison. They need to be prosecuted and imprisoned for their espionage and subversive activity against our people and our constitution and our very system of checks and balances. All government officials have vowed to “Preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic.” But they are liars with no integrity. We have let the fox into the hen house and they are killing us and our way of life. At the very least those who have violated our laws, threatened to hire hit-men, or wished death upon our people need to be prosecuted, imprisoned, and/or deported and banished to the Communist countries they love so much.
The videos and quotes for the memes (although they are not exactly always humorous,) reflect my research they are not part of my research. They are also a pleasant diversion for me to make them as I watch the news. I just know, both from Teacher’s College and the Instructor Training Course in the Army that people learn in different ways. The videos and memes are there for more visual and auditory learners. They will never replace the text and research I write about but they are meant to highlight it.

Through spoken truth challenging their lies and bold political action we can oust these monsters who don’t care about us or how we and our families may struggle or suffer and replace them with truth and freedom loving men and women like Trump, Vivek Ramaswammy, Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr., Bret Weinstein, Dave Rubin, Matt Walsh, Dennis Praeger, Nick Freitas, Chip Roy, Tim Cruz, Jordan Peterson and so many others. All of us are important in this fight because we need to listen to the enemy and fight from the top down, bottom up, and all around the middle to defeat this evil totalitarian philosophy that would make us all into slaves and together we can defeat the lies of the totalitarian, lying, Leftists.
As an example one of the lies that keeps us apart is slavery. Slavery is a fact of human history that seems to be as old as humanity itself. Like all the lies of the left their lie that we were built on slavery is built around a small kernel of truth. As many as 25 million Africans may have been brought to the new world from Africa. Only two nations opposed this in the 1800s, the United States and Britain who both used their navies to intercept slave ships and free the slaves aboard them. In 1807 Thomas Jefferson (who liars have probably told you didn’t understand his own words when he wrote that “all men were created equal” signed into law the bill that made the African Slave trade illegal in America and in 1807 it became illegal to bring any more slaves to America. Far from being the cornerstone on slavery we were one of the two nations who opposed it and forced others to stop it. Of the 25 million slaves brought to the new world only 800,000 came to what is now the United States.
In Haiti and the Dominican Republic slavery was so harsh that the average life span of an African slave once they arrived there was less than two years from arrival to their death. Yet those 800,000 slaves in America founded families and bred to become millions. This didn’t happen in any other country because the conditions of slavery were so harsh. Arab nations castrated their African slaves so they couldn’t breed and most of the Central and South American and Caribbean slaves lived under such harsh conditions they died. But the liars say that America, the most equitable nation in the world, is a product of systemic racism. Slavery anywhere is wrong but the facts and numbers do not lie. Slavery in America, harsh and oppressive as it was, was one of the most mild forms of slavery in the world. I read in Southern diaries of women that it was hard to entertain at Christmas and New Years without their “domestics” (what we call slaves now.) No history book I read ever bothered to explain to me why they had to entertain without the help of their slaves from Christmas to New Years. It was only when I read a biography of Jeff Thompson the Confederate officer and Mayor of Saint Joseph, MO that I found out it was the custom of Christian slave owners to give their slaves a pass for the month of December so that they could have that time off for Christmas and use the time to travel to other plantations to visit friends and members of their extended families who may be enslaved at other plantations. The “pass” allowed them to travel if they encountered slave patrols as long as they were back by the Epiphany in January. Why did I have to wait until I was almost 50 (I had studied the Civil War since I was in Grade School,) to find out this fact? The image of slavery we have in America has more to do with “Yankee” propaganda justifying the Civil War than it does with history. It is fact but I bet you have never heard this in your life! That is the level of disinformation we are dealing with. Some of it you have heard all your life. You have heard it so much you don’t even question it. But I do. I always want to know why. I do the research and you gain the benefit of my insatiable curiousity.
Years ago I wondered why they were slaughtering the Tutsi and other tribes in Africa in acts of genocide and rape. It was not until I listened to what Dr. Thomas Sowell and other black professors had to say about their study of slavery that I realized that the Tutsi had been one of the most notorius slave gathering tribes in Africa. Many, if not all of the mysteries of what happens in our lives can be solved by a study of history. There is a reason behind everything.
Let me be clear, I use this example not to defend slavery in the South. I agree with Southern General Robert E. Lee who freed his slaves before the war, when he said: “I wish I owned all the slaves in America so I could free them all and avert this war.” I suppose that is another fact of history our academic elite never bothered to share with you. Another is this portion of the draft of the American Declaration of Independence that Jefferson wrote but was asked to remove because it might alienate the Southern States (although Jefferson was from one of those Southern States, the State of Virginia.) he did remove it but when he wrote the drafts of the Declaration to be discussed in the continental congress he left his diatribe against slavery in the draft and simply put a single line through it so it could still be read. He did this on all three drafts used for general discussion.
SabersEdge is a place where we cut through the lies to get to the truth. I fenced with a saber and I was pretty good with it. It is truth that is the best disinfectant for the lies that keep us down. Again, I do not get my ideas from videos I get them from books and from Spengler’s Decline of the West to Alexander Solzhenitsyn’s Warning to the West it seems that we have read many of the same books. Like Rudyard I would rather retire and sit back with my extensive library and read. The more I read the less I feel I know. That has always stopped me from writing a site like this because I am keenly aware that there is more out there that I do NOT know that what I do know. But it is refreshing to see someone who can bring these ideas together so succinctly. I do, occasionally, argue with him (on the video screen,) over details but he is an impressive person and should give all of us hope for the future. It is common to dis the younger generations today but these are the same generations that produced Ben Shapiro, Brett Cooper, Amala Ekponobi, Konstantin Kisin, Tim Pool, and the thousands of soldiers who gave their lives and livelihood for America in Iraq and Afghanistan. I, for one, believe the future is in good hands. Although it would have been in better hands without the Leftist and Department of Educations interference in the education (of mal-education,) of this generation.
