God and the Soldier by Rudyard Kipling
In times of War and not before,
God and the Soldier we adore
But in time of peace,
And all things righted;
God is forgotten,
The soldier slighted.
Apologies, they have cut off my power and I’m not sure when I will be back. Have to wait military disability and social security. No agencies seem to be around to help anymore. Guess Biden’s economy is killing all the little people. I will leave you with this poem by Rudyard Kipling that I first read on the wall of the ROTC office. He wrote over a hundred years ago so I guess nothing has changed.
Current difficulty has made my creativity challenged but I’m still pushing forward as best I can. SEND HELP to Daniel Brakhage PO Box 433, Leavenworth KS 66048.
Ride to the sound of the guns and keep fighting to your last strength! Never Surrender!
