In this article, we will examine the law, briefly discuss immigrants’ rights to due process, public opinion on the matter, and, finally, explore how this happened to our country. I would think that before you were stupid enough to ruin your life and get arrested, interfering with a Federal Officer/ICE in performance of their duty, you would be smart enough to read the law and understand the rights you are risking your own livelihood for. As Michael Knowles said before Congress a couple of weeks ago, when speaking of political violence, “It turns out that the Left commits less political violence if you don’t count the political violence that the Left commits.” [See Congressional Hearing on Political Violence Below] Even last week, I had someone who thinks they know, but who clearly is unable to assess data objectively, tell me that statistics prove the right commits most political violence. Everyone seems to have an opinion, but I am a trained Federal Officer and approach the problem based on my training in hunting and thwarting international terrorism: Is ANTIFA Really Terrorist? As I said, people like that, who are so blinded by media lies that they still make such an ignorant statement after of the school and church shootings by trans and Leftist fanatics, at least three assassination attempts on Donald Trump, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, bombing of churches, riots in over a dozen cities in the US opposing Federal Law, and the riots of 2020, are slaves of the narrative. Now as of last week we can add to this the fact that violence committed against Federal Officers of the United States Government is up 8000% and you have a kind of willful blindness to continue to not see. These people are either incapable of thinking or too lazy to think for themselves and will believe whatever the TV (what my dad used to call “The Boob Tube”) tells them to believe. I had argued with this person on several occasions, but when she said that, I knew she was beyond all hope of being reached and I finally blocked her. IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT ABOUT THE VIOLENCE OF THE REST WATCH THE EXERPT OF THE CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE ON POLITICAL VIOLENCE AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE. IN MY LIFETIME (over 60 years) THERE HERE BEEN AT LEAST EIGHT POLITICAL ASSASSINATIONS OR ATTEMPTS ON MAJOR POLITICAL FIGURES. HALF OF THEM HAVE OCCURRED IN THE LAST TWO YEARS. THE DANGER IS REAL AND WE ARE FACING INSURRECTION.
In case you missed this fact in the statement above let me say it again. There has been an increase in violence against ICE and other Federal Officers of 8000%. Now, as I said, you can skew these statistics by how you choose to define violence and what you count and don’t count (as Michael Knowles said, if you don’t count the violence of those on the Left of course the right will commit more violence…but you are lying.) I don’t know how they got this number but any amount of manipulation which bumps the needle from 800% increase last month to an 8000% increase last week HAS to have some solid data behind it. Even if the data is skewed and doubles the result this total is beyond crime closer to the level of insurrection. However, let us be clear, committing or threatening violence against a Federal Officer is a felony that can bring you up to twenty years in prison, if prosecuted. And finally, we have an administration willing to enforce the laws passed by our representatives.
We live in trying times. For around ten years before the American Civil War erupted violence (a mini-Civil War raged in Kansas and Missouri that history books refer to as “Bleeding Kansas.” (This is because the North won and Kansas was primarily pro Northern. Had the South won we would call it “Bloody Missouri” – which was primarily Southern in its sympathies.) This, as well as the refusal of people to see the danger such insurrection carries with it for our country reminds me of this time before the Civil War broke out. When the problem was still manageable people refused to see it or deal with it.
IMMIGRATION LAW
Let’s look at the law that so many Americans and illegal aliens are trying to overthrow through extralegal means because they don’t have the support nationally to do it through our Constitutional System and by amending Congressional Law. So, instead, there are many in ignorance of the facts, having been manipulated by the media, who are committing acts of insurrection, thinking they are protecting America because of lies and propaganda they imbibe daily.
So, what do these laws say? (I was initially going to print the pages of laws so you could read it yourselves. However, when I ran this past some people I know who had not spent their lives reading laws and statutes, they looked at it and said, “So, what the hell does this mean?” So, if you want to read the laws, you can look them up. I provide the references. If you’re going to understand them, I will explain them.)
8 U.S.C. § 1182(a)(6)(A)(i) (INA § 212(a)(6)(A)(i)), which establishes inadmissibility for present or prior illegal entrants declares that the following people are ineligible to receive visas and ineligible even to be admitted into the United States: 1) illegal entrants who did not enter according to legal requirements; 2) persons present in the United States who violated US or foreign laws that renders them forever ineligible for entry to the United States; 3) Aliens present without admission or parole or who arrives in the United States at any time or place other than as designated by the Commissioner of Immigration; 4) Aliens who are have voted in a US national election when they are not citizens are forever barred from entry into the United States or citizenship.
Aliens in these categories are usually entirely inadmissible for the United States under ANY legal circumstances and “are ineligible to receive visas and ineligible to be admitted to the United States.”
WHAT DO I HAVE AGAINST THE LEFT?
I, until the last election, have never voted a straight party ticket in my life. And actually, part of my decision to completely abandon the Democratic Party was due to Tulsi Gabbard and RFK joining the Republican Administration. Generally, I voted for Democrats on domestic issues to congress and the House because traditional liberals were better on rights and defending the lives of the lower and middle classes. Meanwhile I voted for Republican presidents because they tended to be better on issues of international relations. This was never a hard and fast rule, and I always varied this policy for individuals who stood out and impressed me. I am not and never have been a party man. The last three years of posts here may give you a different impression, but I had a radio show many years ago where I constantly attacked Bush and Rumsfield’s policies as unconstitutional and un-American. Unlike party apparatchiks SabersEdge’ “Cutting through the lies to get to the Truth cuts both ways. But Democrats and the Left are no longer liberal. Whether they know it or not they are Communists.
In addition, as a former Immigration Officer, this makes me incredibly angry because the Left is so obsessed with power that they don’t care if they destroy everything and everyone they claim to care about in the process. I have watched for years as Democrats have locally and nationally hinted that illegals should vote for Democratic candidates when Federal Law clearly states that any NON-CITIZENS who vote in a Federal Election will be forever barred from US Citizenship. Immigration Officers, like all law enforcement officers, have a great deal of discretion, but that is one offense we are bound by statute NOT to waive because fraudulent elections endanger our very system of government.
8 U.S.C. § 1225(b)(1) – Is the law that covers Inspection by Immigration Officers; Expedited Removal of Inadmissible Arriving Aliens and the Inspection of aliens arriving in the United States and certain other aliens; and the authority of inspecting officers.
Aliens (any non-US Citizen or Lawful Resident of these United States is an Alien,) are required to be “inspected upon arrival to the US, if an immigration officer determines that an alien who is arriving in the United States or who is already in the United States without authorization THE OFFICER SHALL ORDER THE ALIEN REMOVED FROM THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT FURTHER HEARING OR REVIEW unless the Alien says they claim asylum. Illegal Aliens who have no credible case for asylum have been using this loophole for years to stop their removal because they have been trained to use it by Democratic Layers who have tried to interfere with our immigration laws by giving classes on how to undermine our system in the dozens of migrant camps funded by George Soros, the churches in the US, and Leftist and Criminal organizations. Using this loophole millions of illegals who have no right to be here have gained entry to the United States by claiming asylum and then disappearing in the United States and sometimes not even showing up at their asylum hearing because they know they will be removed if they actually go through the legal process.
DUE PROCESS FOR ILLEGALS
Due process is the guarantee in America that law enforcement will act only through Due Process. Due Process means proper legal proceedings. People who watch too much TV and read too little have come to believe that Due Process means trial by jury. It does not, and it never has meant that, exclusively. In the cases they watch in crime dramas, cases where citizens are arrested (people who have the rights and obligations of citizenship in the United States it CAN mean a trial by jury or it can simply mean a legal proceeding in front of a judge. Legislators recognized that if we gave that right to everyone who was able to slip into our country through illegal means – even though we knew they cheated to get here – that removing unwanted aliens would become a nightmare (as it indeed has under the ‘suicidal empathy’ policies of the left.)
The stupidity of people risking their livelihood by interfering with the duties of a Federal Officer who is trained in the law, based upon rhetoric offered by politicians and journalists who (even if they are lawyers,) are ignorant of the details of immigration law, does indeed make these uninformed pawns into USEFUL IDIOTS.
THE GRIFT
We are told that if they have been here working and paying taxes, we should let them stay, but they cannot pay taxes if they are not here legally because they don’t have a tax number. If they are paying taxes, they are using a citizen’s or legal resident’s tax number, which is illegal. So, they didn’t just break one law. They continuously flaunt and bypass laws every day they are here, in almost everything they do. The messed-up thing is the IRS knows who these people are, using false IDs to pay taxes. They keep the money even though they know it isn’t coming from the taxpayer – only the legal taxpayer gets no credit for paying that money. Currently, the IRS has no method or intention of contacting ICE with the location of these illegal aliens who are working in our country illegally and using stolen social security numbers to do it. They are using you, as a law-abiding tax paying citizen, and getting benefits fraudulently by parasitically grafting themselves onto legal tax accounts.
So, these people have not “obeyed our laws” for years, as the media and Democrats pretend. While they are here, they break our laws daily simply by working on stolen tax IDs and have (in some cases) spent decades evading legal ramifications to stay in our country and send American dollars back to their country. This weakens our economy by sending billions of dollars out of our country instead of using them to buy products here.
Why is the government willing to let SNAP benefits fall, and why are the Democrats (who created this problem with illegals) so set on pushing it by the government shutdown? Perhaps it has something to do with 56% of those collecting SNAP benefits may be here illegally. 76% of those collecting SNAP benefits ARE immigrants. Is this why we are paying taxes? To feed illegals in our country? Under the Democrats in the most recent administration, it was. In addition to all of this they collect benefits not only from SNAP but from Social Security, and Unemployment, and other safety nets that were made up for hard working American Citizens that were down on their luck. And as someone who has needed these services for myself and my family at times in my past, (unlike the AWFLs – Affluent White Female Liberals who have never needed them in their lives,) they don’t understand that there are so many grifters using the system now that it makes it very very hard for honest people to even access the benefits. These benefits are paid for by honest taxpayers and were intended for citizens and legal residents who work for and to build this country who are temporarily down on their luck; NOT as a system of permanent handouts for freeloaders who think we owe it to them. People who, in many cases came here from hopelessly managed socialist countries who believe the government must support everyone instead of the American idea that the people build the government.
Illegals in America have made a lifetime of violating and bypassing our laws and legal systems. Are those the type of citizens we want to have in this country? I think not. On top of all that, their very first act in this country was to lie to and evade law enforcement.
PUBLIC OPINION
Today, Leftists are playing their usual game. They are trying to destroy the resolve of their enemies and patriots by biased reporting in the media that is controlled by the very business interests that are profiting from this corruption and illegality. So, everything politicians or media say in defense of this corrupt system should be examined closely. Unfortunately, their tactics, and their lies as they have in the past, are working.
Polls show that there is broad support and near universal backing for deporting criminals (80-87%) but drops to 50-56% for mass deportations of all undocumented immigrants. However, this is because people don’t realize the amount of criminality and corruption that goes into bringing these illegals into the country, and many businesses and/or the financial supporters of politicians supporting illegals are profiting off their slave labor once they get here. Somehow, the left (‘those who care’?) are fighting to keep these people here illegally in a near slave status of abuse and misuse by industry. Especially the food production and service industry. I come from Nebraska originally and whenever a meat packing plant opened the local community was flooded with people who didn’t speak English.
What is the solution of the Left? Overlook all the illegality and corruption and hope it will all just “go away” if we give illegals amnesty and all the rights of citizenship even though they have no loyalty or love for our country. THAT is probably the surest way to destroy our country there is, in fact, this impulse to “give away” the hard-earned rights of citizenship and the benefits so many Americans fought and died for is the same impulse that welcomed the barbarians into the borders of Rome because it was the “easy” solution and led to the collapse of the greatest empire of the ancient world an empire which grew out of the republic on which our own republic is based. Perhaps we recreated the Roman Republic so well we now face the same downfall. Only we did not last over a thousand years as Rome did.
As of October 2025, recent polls show 52-56% of registered voters approving the general idea of deporting undocumented immigrants. Thanks to the biased reporting, however, the majority often criticize the execution as “too far” or unfair. And the resolve of the people is already wavering, as they want to negotiate or mitigate our response to make everyone happy. But to compromise with people who want to fundamentally change or topple the American system is to surrender.
Support is strongest among Republicans (90%+), with independents split or leaning positive (around 50%), and Democrats largely opposed (70-80% against). Overall, immigration remains one of Trump’s highest-rated issues, with 46-58% approval on his handling, based on Key Recent Polls (September-October 2025).
The people who get their news from mainstream media are missing the whole picture, so it is not surprising that they are losing their resolve. The “Sanctuary City” Leftists are purposely trying to make this as painful for everyone as possible. It is the way of Leftists. They could turn over the illegals that ICE is looking for at the jail and homes, businesses, public buildings, would not be raided to apprehend criminals. Whenever such raids are forced by Leftist policies police must apprehend and identify everyone at the “crime” scene. When that happens people the Left can hold up as “innocents” and get sympathy for are also arrested and found to be her illegally. Using such ruthless tactics they have begun to sway US opinion against what is necessary to fix this problem.
Now, even among supporters, 51-53% say they have concerns about Trump’s execution of the plans (e.g., raids, family separations) have “gone too far” or are unfair (based on a NYT/Siena Poll, Oct). What the media refuses to do but Homan has done pretty well at explaining over and over. However, many networks don’t air it – these methods are necessary because sanctuary cities and sanctuary states refuse to obey the law and turn over criminals to ICE. If they did these arrests could happen at the jail and they would not even involve the families.
However, when ICE has to trace them to their worksite or their homes, they are required to identify everyone at the crime scene. It is common for illegal aliens who are criminals to live amongst illegal aliens who are not criminals. Sanctuary policies are creating the very thing they are protesting against because when Federal Law enforcement finds illegals they are bound by law to enforce that law and arrest everyone. But these details are conveniently left out of media reporting and Democratic moralizing. They don’t serve the rhetoric of those trying to bring down the system nor the rhetoric of the corrupt who benefit from this system and who created this problem in the first place. It is not surprising that their solution is to just ‘look the other way” and pretend everything is fine and just change the law to give our legal blessing to the corruption, human trafficking, and cartels who hold sway and control over this community. Unfortunately, democracies have ever been too weak to establish justice or order in their own communities because most people don’t care about law or justice they just want to be left alone in peace.
There have been shifts over time: Support peaked at 47-58% in early 2025 post-inauguration but declined to 38-40% by July amid backlash (e.g., Los Angeles protests, worker shortages). Although October polls indicate a rebound to ~54%, possibly tied to falling border encounters. - Demographic Breakdown:
- Republicans: 93-95% support.
- Independents: 49-53% support.
- Democrats: 18-20% support (mostly for criminals only).
- Hispanics: 40-45% support broad policy, but 67% favor pathways to citizenship
Unfortunately, now some polls indicate that only 28-38% back using military funds or active-duty troops for enforcement (Axios/Ipsos, Jan) when, due to the massive corruption and subversive money involve, as well as the neglect of spineless bureaucrats who didn’t have the backbone to enforce the law in their administrations, the problem as become way too large for the police. Especially in places like Los Angeles where some estimates have placed the illegals at between 40-60% of the population! Police cannot fix that.
Lets go back to what I said at the beginning. Attacks on Federal Officers are up 8000%. That is not a law enforcement problem that is a state of insurrection. The constitution provides the president the authority to use the military in a state of insurrection. Today, not only individuals, but entire cities, counties, and state governments are in a state of insurrection defying the laws passed by congress, the Federal Government, and they are challenging our very system of goverment. This is a state of insurrection and if it is not stopped, we will either slide from them into civil war or we will give up the last of our Republic for a fake peace and to avoid disturbing headlines. We are in a state of emergency and entire states are in a state of insurrection against Federal Law. If we don’t rein this in now we will not create peace any more than those who wanted to “look the other way” and ignore slavery brought peace to the United States in the 1800s.
In a Broader Context These figures reflect Trump’s campaign promise of “the largest deportation operation in American history,” (although currently President Barack Obama still holds the title of “Deporter in Chief” because he deported more than Trump has.) Trumps actions are not unconstitutional they are enacted via executive orders implementing and defining law from the Immigration and Nationality Act passed by congress and signed into law by previous presidents. They follow Due Process according to expanding expedited removal (defined in INA § 1225) and ICE administrative priorities. While polls substantiate majority voter backing for the goal—driven by concerns over crime, costs, and border security—sustained support may hinge on avoiding high-profile errors (e.g., wrongful deportations) and economic fallout. X discussions echo this, with posts highlighting poll positives but debating media “bias” in coverage of protests. Justice should not depend on the whims of public opinion.
Although, just as before the American Civil War most people don’t want to see it. We are in a fight to define our Republic. Will it be a Republic defined by the rule of law and principle or a Democratic Socialism based on whims of emotion and suicidal empathy? The future is up to us. Inaction is a vote for suicidal empathy and communism.
