FIRST, ARE MY PAYMENTS IN DANGER?

People are rightfully concerned that their payments continue. Many people rely on these payments just to make ends meet and, in case you haven’t been buying groceries or paying for gas in the last four years, everything has gotten more expensive. Many people are on the edge of desperation and for some reason some of our politicians and media are feeding this fear instead of actually trying to help people. For some reason the media is pointedly ignoring the very safeguards to our aid to single mothers, SNAP, Social Security, Welfare, Medicare, and other payments that the White House Press Secretary specifically told veryone that the President had exempted and guaranteed would continue. Yet, either because they are stupid and cannot read, or because they are lying both media and politicians are making a big deal of it. Now we cannot blame people who may be panicking. It is not their job to make sure we get correct information, that is the task of our leaders and our media, and they have chosen to not do it and to make people more, instead of less afraid. Many have pointed out that people who are afraid are easier to manipulate but we cannot really know what their motive is. We can only guess. But the White House and Federal Government has said (according to the Wall Street Journal) that the following were not to be affected by the freeze: Social Security, Medicare, SNAP, and “any program that provides direct benefits to Americans is explicitly excluded from the pause and exempted from this review process.” Also, Federal Student Loans and Pell Grants are unaffected as are Grant programs for black colleges and universities and predominantly black institutions, money for small businesses and farmers are unaffected. In addition, Medicaid, Head Start, school breakfast and lunch programs, rental assistance, housing vouchers, and army contracts.

So why are so many in media and so many Democratic Politicians complaining and scaring people into thinking they are?

IS OUR DEMOCRACY IN DANGER?

All this talk we hear that we are in the midst of “a coup” or that our “democracy” is in danger seems to be to be a bit overblown by media, talking heads, and some of our political leaders. First let’s look at the claim Musk is launching some kind of coup or overthrowing our democracy or stealing our financial information.

If you look on the Treasury Department website and listen to the head of the department, who has been interviewed on TV, Elon Musk has been assigned to do an audit of the financials of various government agencies and activities to screen them for fraud, waste, and abuse. So, first of all he was assigned by the Treasury Department to perform these tasks and serves at the pleasure of the President – which means the President doesn’t have to go through a process to fire him. He can just say “thanks we’re done here” and it is over. There is nothing illegal or shady about that. Special Counsels and both internal and external audits are done all the time in our government. The only people who should be afraid of an audit are people who are doing something wrong – or at least are unsure that they did everything right.

The President campaigned on Making America Great Again, Making America Healthy Again, and creating an activity generally called the Department of Government Efficiency or DOGE to fight fraud waste and abuse. He won by a majority vote of the people and by a strong electoral vote as well, so he has one of the best arguments of any President in decades to claim a government mandate for his actions.

Musk has Read Only access which means he cannot change, tamper, or redirect information. He is reviewing info, sytems, and processes and seeing if he can find inefficiency. Obviously, while he is doing that you cannot make changes while it is being reviewed. No competent audit in the world works that way. How can you do an audit if you allow potential malefactors to get into and manipulate the information while you are looking at it? You can’t. Every government system is supposed to be audited regularly but now, and perhaps for the first time, the government programs and offices are being audited to see if they are efficient.

Our democracy is in danger, but it faces more danger from corruption and licentiousness and spending than it does form Donald Trump’s elected government.

Further, we have a more than 1.8 trillion-dollar financial deficit in this country. This is unheard of and requires immediate action. Action that our regular branches of government have failed to effectively accomplish over my entire life. All they do is talk and talk as the deficit grows and grows. This is the greatest threat ot our Democracy because the most common reason for a nation to collapse is not war it is financial mismanagement (although that often seems to end in a war as well,) and there are no surprises here. It has happened over and over again in history from Rome to the French Revolution, to the collapse of Greece a few years ago. While our politicians argue over bathrooms and gender the greatest threat to the survival of America (besides WWIII,) is financial trouble. And Trump, although taking exceptional action is taking it to meet an exceptional threat. And, as I said, he campaigned on doing this very thing and won the election handily and with both an electoral and popular majority.

That means that Musk’s actions are not a threat to democracy but the result of it.

IF THESE PAYMENTS ARE NOT THREATENED THEN WHY WOULD POLITICIANS, BUREAUCRATS, AND MEDIA LIE TO SAY THEY WERE?

As always, I look at things from an investigative standpoint. I have to assume media and politicians are lying about this on purpose. After all they have staffs to do research for them. I am all by myself and I found the information just because I know here to look. So, either Democrats and some government officers, are either so totally incompetent or stupid that they speak before they think, or they are lying to gain an advantage.

Is anyone else tired of politicians saying something is “obviously” illegal but being unable to cite any specific laws have been violated? They are doing it again here and it is becoming just one more sign that the politicians are lying to me.

Also, it is telling that so much of the coverage is making a big deal out of this kid’s stupid handle on one of his accounts “big balls.” That is not news. When someone brings up a topic and immediately opens a side story that is not really relevant (like someone’s handle or screen name,) you know that they have a weak case or maybe want to divert you from the fact that they cannot tell you what law is supposedly broken?

I am sure many of us have used names online that we wouldn’t want plastered all over the news and told to everyone. However, when that becomes news, it is because they are trying to distract you. They don’t have enough substance to raise objections, so they try to divert your attention to something outrageous and, with luck, you won’t notice how weak their argument is and be outraged by the stupid handle the kid used. My friends gave me the gaming nickname of “The Evil Overlord” but I am not an overlord nor am I evil…honest…. Like most names like that there is a story that goes with it. I had a friend Marc send me a humorous list “100 Things To Remember If You Are Ever an Evil Overlord.” I thought it was funny as it referred to things done in many movies that lead to the downfall of the bad guy, so I sent the list to all my friends on my gaming group list. Voila! Ever since then everyone called me the Evil Overlord…including the children of my friends when they were little. One little girl came dancing down the hall when I arrived calling “The Evil Overlord is here! The Evil Overlord is here!” One would think it would not be a joyous time. However, it like this kid’s name probably does, has an embarrassing or silly story behind it.

How can making Americans afraid they cannot feed their children or pay their rent give them an advantage? How can outrage work for them? Why would you want to divert them with something innocuous while simultaneously claiming so much was at stake?

I don’t think it would directly be an advantage to them. However, if they wanted to stop the audit because they had something to hide and they needed time to hide, destroy, or tamper with the evidence then getting people upset, outraged, and/or getting a court order to stop it WOULD be to their advantage. If that is the case that would mean the people screaming the loudest are the most corrupt with the most to hide. You can look for yourself to see who is screaming. As I said, if I can find this information so can they so why are they pretending it’s not there?

So now there is a court ordered freeze on these audits and criminals may have once again won in our government by stopping action that could expose them. This is important from an investigative standpoint because by stopping an auditors access it allows illegal and criminal actors time to “doctor the books” and hide what they have been doing. That seems to me to be the most important reason the “swamp” and corporate/bureaucratic oligarchy would want to lie to people to get them upset that their payments might be cancelled so that they could slap an injunction on things and have time to “cover their tracks.” Such actions are regularly attempted in organized crime and money laundering schemes to destroy of hide evidence when the “feds” are onto them. If you have other reasons that you can think of that they would ignore what has already been put out to scare the hell out of people let me know in the comments.

WHAT DAMAGE CAN MUSK DO TO OUR INFORMATION, OUR FINANCIALS, OR SERVICES BY BUNGLING AROUND IN SYSTEMS HE IS UNFAMILIAR WITH?

None. I hear some scoffing already but hear me out. I realize that Musk likes to talk like he and the President are buds and they are acting together so he uses “we” language a lot. This conflates actions and recommendations and can cause confusion. The Treasury Secretary has done repeated interviews and emphasized that Elon Musk and his team have READ ONLY access. As auditors they can review information, but they have no access or authority to change any information. If you have never worked in government systems there is usually a “read access” and a “working access” while doing an audit is, indeed, work it is not the kind of work that allows them to poke around and change things in the system. They can look. They can observe. They can read. And they can then make recommendations to the President and the Departments to make changes, but Musk and his team cannot make those changes on his own authority. But they cannot alter anything. Politicians know that, bureaucrats know that, and media should know that so why are they making people believe otherwise? The people, on the other hand, have never worked with thes systems and have no reason to understand their access or restrictions, they rely on others to tell them. But when those they rely on are lying to them all we can do is hope that they wake up.

WHAT VETTING HAS ELON MUSK GONE THROUGH? WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DOES HE HAVE?

Someone asked on Facebook the other day: Who vetted Musk for this job? The answer is the FBI and DIS. What do I mean by that? Read on!

Musk has been cleared by the President of the United States and the United States Treasury Department to do an audit of expenditures and activities that we as tax-payers pay for. The Treasury Secretary in an interview said that Musk was “assigned” by the Treasury Department to do these audits. Audits are a normal part of government and are required by law so how is this threatening our Democracy?

In this task he has been given by the President (a task validated by the majority vote of the American People – who were promised that, if elected, Musk and Trump would do this audit,) the Treasury Department, and by majority vote the American People, so he has authority.

Another factor is people are gaslighting the public and claiming he doesn’t have the expertise to do such audits. This is a ridiculous claim if you understand Musk’s history. He has bought and taken over or created companies that no one else was able to make profitable or efficient. He would, like in Twitter, fire half or more of the people and with the people who remained (by just keeping those who actually worked,) he was able to not only continue but expand the operations of the company. In my opinion if he can do the same with the government our lives will all get better and our nations deficit spending will be reduced.

The arguments that he doesn’t have the expertise is hooey. He has experience cutting the fat and in areas where he may not understand all the nuances it won’t matter. Because he gives his recommendations to the IG, Treasury Department, the Fed, or others who will then decide what, if anything, is going to be done. In short, these arguments seem to me to be fearmongering to oppose change and defend business in the US Government as usual. A practice that only those who are getting rich off the system seem to like.

Back to DOGE and Elon Musk, he can make recommendations but not make change and but complaining that he is not trustworthy is ridiculous. HE HAS A TOP SECRET SCI clearance and while that does not guarantee you will get Sainthood (far from it) it does mean you have been seriously vetted for dependability. Musk is used to everyday safeguarding information so far above our feeble account numbers that most people probably cannot even fathom it. Now, true, our bank info is extremely important to us. However, to make people think that Musk is not qualified to even see or work with such numbers is an out an out lie and the media is manipulating you.

They also obscure the fact that Musk has been through one of the most grueling investigations our country has and that is a Special Background Investigation (SBI). You have to have a Background Investigation (BI) to get a TOP SECRET clearance, but you need to have s Special Background Investigation to get a TOP SECRET clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information which is a much tighter clearance. In an SBI they review your entire life. They talk to your teachers, fellow students, employers, neighbors, family, and everyone you put down for a reference or family. But they are savvier than that. They ask everyone “Can you give me names of a couple other people who know him (or her)?” After they move out from your references for a few names THEN they feel they have a good idea of what you are really like because they have moved beyond the people who might cover for you. How do I know? I spent years doing my part of these investigations and they take a long time. It is very in depth and Musk needed one of these to work with our missile defense systems, communications, and our space program. Not everyone in these would have a TS SCI clearance but at the level he operates he definitey needed one and, if you check the records, he has one.

By comparison the personal social security information and financial information that people are whining about him having access to is Confidential or Privacy Act information. To see where this information of yours falls on the spectrum of security lets look (at every level having been cleared for a clearance does not mean that you have that clearance. To get access to classified information you have to be Read On to the specific program and you must have THE NEED TO KNOW. If ALL of these elements don’t line up perfectly you will be denied access until you can be cleared:

TOP SECRET – SENSITIVE COMPARTMENTED INFORMATION (and you only get aceess to your own compartments, just because you have TS SCI clearance doesn’t mean that you get to know. I had access to several black programs – two of which were not even listed a programs but were included under a vague umbrella. Others had classified headings with nothing to do with what they are really doing. TS – SCI can only be studied or viewed in a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) that limits it external lines. You have to turn in all your electronic devices, cameras, and phones before you can even enter and they do an electronic scan to detect anything you may have “forgotten”. You would probably be shocked if you found out the detailed information available at this level. I was and I had spent years before studying espionage and international relations but even the stuff you see in movies…you really have no idea what they really have. I had two of these clearances that I could actually tell people that I had (by their initials only) but if I even told anyone what the initials stood for I could be thrown in jail for compromising the information.

TOP SECRET – This information isn’t as important or as sensitive as TS SCI information. It is just run of the mill stuff like our Nuclear Defense an Attack Systems, our Satellite Defense information, satellite photos of things like “What is he carrying in his pocket” and stuff like that. Not as sensitive or as critical as TS-SCI. Some of my class notes that I took during training as an agent were Top Secret and I could only view them if I arranged a viewing.

SECRET – is the next level down. The war fighting plans for our unit in 3/8 Cavalry when I was stationed on the East German border were classified SECRET and NATO. NATO is not a classification level of its own it is simply an access. If you have SECRET or TOP SECRET or TS SCI but don’t have NATO then you wouldn’t get access to classified information specific to the NATO alliance and countries. So war plans, identity of spies, most of the communications I got from my HQ when I was an agent were all SECRET. If any were higher than that I needed to make special arrangements to get them. Every day or two I went to the Base Communications Center and picked up my SECRET messages put them in a briefcase, locked it, an carried it back to my office before reading them. My office had steel bars on the windows and locks on individual offices and outer doors and we have safes in a secure room to store these messages. Even with the bars and locks they could not be left on or in our desks.All officers and senior NCOs have been cleared for SECRET information…although this does not mean they have access to SECRET information. As always you need both the Clearance and the NEED TO KNOW.

CONFIDENTIAL – We often hear that something is confidential but that is not the classification CONFIDENTIAL, this information has a Blue Cover sheet and like the Red Cover Sheet of SECRET an the colors above it the Blue Cover Sheet is meant so that no one can accidentally see anything on the sheet unless they have a clearance. The same level of investigation is required to get access to either CONFIDENTIAL or SECRET information. Again, what people call confidential information is something completely different than the CONFIDENTIAL security clearance.

FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY – FOUO – even this level – which is not a security clearance but you can still go to jail for releasing it – or if your Hilarly Clinton you get a pass even for TS SCI. But for us real people we can go to jail. For Official Use Only would include military manuals, directions, and the manuals about maintaining our equipment, unclassified orders or directions, and most military paperwork.

PRIVACY ACT INFORMATION and HIPA – The privacy act is not a security clearance. It is information that could be important to you and is supposed to be protected by law. It would include medical information even if it wasn’t specifically covered under HIPA’s health information. All sorts of information about you is supposed to be protected but every time we buy something we usually give the company permission to sell this information to absolutely anyone they want to sell it to. However, the government is supposed to protect us.

This Privacy Act information, all the way down here at the bottom of the hierarchy of safeguarded information is the level of information that the gaslighters are telling you that is in danger. Certainly it is important to us but Musk has been cleared to safeguard information so far above that level that it is ludicrous to claim he isn’t qualified.

He safeguards information like that and more sensitive as well every single day of his life. If you know people being stirred up about this they are being gaslit in the worst way possible and they should seriously queestion if they should trust people who would manipulate them in this way.

So, Elon Musk has been cleared for TS SCI clearance All they way up the list from the information that the media is complaining about the account numbers and financial information that people are complaing and tricked into being afraid that he has access to.

WHY ARE THE MEDIA AND SOME POLITICIANS AND BUREAUCRATS FEARFUL?

Although all of this has been obscured and twisted by our corrupt and power-glutted media we need to be aware of what is going on. In my mind, the people who complain loudest about having their activity and their spending audited are the ones who are most likely to be criminals. If you are hard-working and efficient and, like me, know that your statistics are as good or better than your co-workers wouldn’t you welcome a chance to prove your worth. I would. I might get a raise after they see how much better I do that the average Joe or Mary.

The gaslighing of the media, not Musk’s audit, is the problem here. There is a powerful corporate, military/industrial/pharmacological and bureaucratic faction in this nation that I call the Hydra (and many call the Swamp) and represents a powerful oligarchy of entrenched power in this country. I call it a Hydra because although it is all grouped together not all of these heads agree, or even like each other, it is a massive “blob” but it is not united…until it is threatened as it is by the election of this outsider to their power structure Donald J. Trump.

This oligarchy or swamp not only has held the reins of power but they control 94% of the mainstream media. So don’t expect to hear the unvarnished truth from ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, POLITICO, or Fox News, they and many others are controlled and influenced by the oligarchy and our military industrial complex. And this powerful oligarchic elite does not think we can make decisions for ourselves. They believe that only a slim cadre of entrenched elite are the proper people to make these decisions. When they say Musk has no authority and has not been properly vetted they mean he is not part of the DC elite clique who came from the Ivy League Schools and whose families have controlled the reins of government power or been produced by its own processes so they can ensure his obedience.

I grew up watching Star Trek. I remember Klingons trying to trick the Enterprise by sending out a fake distress call. Lt. Cdr. Montgomery Scott answered the call to find….nothing. Then he went back to doing what the bad guys didn’t want him to do and they received another distress call. He didn’t answer it explaining “Fool me once, shame on you. But fool me twice, shame on me.” By which he meant that anyone can be fooled by someone once. It’s just life. However, if you let yourself by tricked, gaslit, and fooled over and over again by the same sources that isn’t their fault – they have already showed you who they are – no, that is your fault. As PT Barnum said, you really can “fool some of the people all of the time.” Don’t be one of those people and don’t let your friends be there either. Some are just too busy to realize quite how much they have been lied to but they are being lied to and they are being lied to by the people that they should be able to trust.

1. When Abraham Lincoln was President, he suspended the writ of habeas corpus and held people (including politicians,) in prison without charges for the duration of the war. In addition, Union Soldiers attacked over 23,000 Union Newspapers that criticized his decisions and conduct of the war, he overrode decisions by state governments and private companies and forced precedence of any military need, and he set the heretofore understood relationship between the states and the Federal Government on its head ending many of the the last vestiges of the Jeffersonian Republic.
