I know you probably came here expecting an article on Reforging the West or What Your Father Should Have Taught You. However, I went to the VA Emergency Room at the VA Hospital this weekend because my back pain was so great I couldn’t focus and I was dizzy from pain. I am sharing just to let you know the situation and not to beg for your sympathy. There are already too many whiners in the world who won’t do anything but complain and do nothing and/or hide in their games or other addictions. I have no desire to join them. I just want you to know what’s going on and that I wouldn’t leave you without good reason.
Hello friends, Freedom Troopers, and my fellow compatriots who are helping me “Reforge the Foundations of the West.” I just wanted to add a quick note to let you know that you are not forgotten ad why I didn’t post my usual discourse. I thought that instead, I could just write about my life and share a little something, so you knew I hadn’t “spaced” you guys and that there was a reason for delay. Consider this Just an informal chat among friends. My delays are usually due to my disability or a lack of sufficient financial backing that gets my access suspended periodically. This time it is due to my disability getting the better of me again. Keep me in your prayers, if you would. Otherwise, send light and supportive thoughts as your beliefs allow.

As I sit here, seven nations in the world have cancelled New Years Eve ceremonies due to threat of Terrorist Attack. In America, Chicago, New Orleans, and New York City all have heightened security due to terroristic threats. These enemies of freedom are changing the way America lives, breathes, and raises our kids. Today more than ever, we need to stand firm and regain ground that we have lost.
A Left-Wing Terrorist has been arrested in New Orleans for a deadly plot against ICE. He appears to belong to the Turtle Island Liberation Front (Turtle Island is the home of a secret government lab with many unsavory rumors and conspiracy theories floating around it,) but I haven’t investigated this group in particular nor have I looked at the lab. (I believe it is supposed to be inactive). If you want me to investigate and tell you about these groups let me know in the comments. After all, investigating spies and terrorists used to be my job.
Also, Iran is in revolution again.
Most people don’t know but Iran was our strongest ally in the Middle East under the Shah of Iran. At the time it was the most Westernized country besides Israel and women served as professors and officers in the Iranian military. They had discotheques, bars, and everything you would associate (both good and bad,) with modern Western society. A minority group of radical Islamists, loyal to the Ayotollah Khomenei (who at the time had been exiled from Iran and was living in France,) rebelled against Iran with the backing of our communist enemies. Due to a lack of preparedness and inaction by Democrat US President Jimmy Carter the Islamists deposed our strongest ally in the Middle East and subjugated the US-loving Westernized people of Iran. The Shaw (reigning monarch of the Consitutional Monarchy of Iran,) was deposed during in 1979 while the Carter administration did nothing but apply economic sanctions. He watched as Islamists defied international law and captured and held hostage the US Embassy staff as the Communist/Islamic insurgency developed. If you want to know more about Iran then let me know, would be happy to give you a complete report on the history and dangers of how a minority Muslim religion overthrew a powerful Western Country and turned it into an Islamic Republic. (The Shah was not a saint, and he probably tried to Westernize the nation to fast. When he moved to ensure that Islamic courts had no official say in Iran or its government (working for a “separation of church and state,” he sparked a revolution he wasn’t ready for.)
I was at the Drill Sgt Academy at Fort Leonard Wood when the Islamic revolutionaries captured our embassy and took executives and workers of Electronic Data Systems hostage. (Ross Perot, CEO of EDS, used his personal funds to send retired US Special Forces Colonel Arthur “Bull” Simon and his team into Iran to get his loyal company workers out of Iran and free them from captivity. This is portrayed in the book “On Wings of Eagles” by Ken Follett and again in the very good movie “On Wings of Eagles” with Burt Lancaster as Colonel Simon and Richard Crenna as Ross Perot and I highly recommend it to show you how Americans used to stand up and do what was right no matter the cost. Ross Perot later got 18.9 million votes as a third-party candidate for President and one of those votes was mine. I thought we needed a president, who had the “noblesse oblige” to use his own money to rescue those who have worked loyally for him for so many years. This is what America used to be like.
President Carter’s attempt to rescue the embassy staff (unlike Col. Simons’ private venture supported by Ross Perot,) failed with several American Servicemen dead. I believe because he tried to have a joint operations rescue and mandated (for political reasons,) that every service participate. He thought that would improve the morale of the military after Viet Nam. However, the US Army, the US Navy, The US Marine Corp, and the US Air Force all had different Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the resulting confusion created a fiasco where two rescue helicopters from different services collided killing or injuring many of the rescuers and the attempt was called off.
In the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979 radical Muslim extremists, an actual religious minority in Iran and women were educated and wore short skirts and went to night clubs at night. By day they worked at important jobs. But Carter stood by ineffectually as Communists supported the extremists to take down our strongest ally in the Middle East. Many Islamic refugees fled the tyrannical Muslim rulers and now live in the US, Britain, or Europe. Mayar Tousi, host and owner of Tousi TV is an Iranian expatriate and covers both the UK and the Middle East with great integrity. Personally, I would like to see a Constitutional Monarchy restored in Iran according to their traditions.
The people of Iran still love America. A year or so ago, in a busy intersection the Revolutionary Government of the “Islamic -Republic” of Iran painted huge American ad Israeli flags on the ground in a busy intersection for people to walk and drive over. Mayhar Tousi on his channel showed a drone view from above of the Iranian people carefully walking around these flags as the majority of people refused to walk on them. This is news our corrupt mainstream media fails to mention. A lie by omission is still a lie. The mainstream Western media has been completely ignoring his revolution which has been going on for 18 hours or more. Their economy has completely gone down the toilet as the Iranian Real is now 1.4 million per DOLLAR!

The videos he is showing are showing the heavily outnumbered Revolutionary Guards backing and sometimes running away from unarmed protestors. They have been shooting (presumably,) rubber bullets but they have switched to live ammunition to gun down large numbers of their own people in the past. About 3-4 years ago a revolution was sparked when Jina Mahsa Amini was killed in custody of the Islamic Morality Police in Iran for refusing to wear the Hijab. I’m guessing you don’t know about that either because US news doesn’t like to do report truth. [You can find an article about that here in Deutsche Welle (DW) – it’s in English: Mahsa Amini: 3 years on, will Iran face fresh protests? – DW – 09/16/2025 ] Once again the fake feminists of America and Europe were silent to the plight of Women in Iran and countries dominated by Muslim regimes.

He also gets live video from his contacts in Iran on everything from riots against the Islamic Government to live video of US and Israely missile and air attacks on Iran and how they looked from the ground. It is past time to dismantle the Iranian regime and restore the rightful Iranian people to control of that country. Iran means “Land of the Aryans” in Persian/Farsi and this is why Hitler sent people to do biological studies and surveys in the areas where the Aryan peoples of Europe originated from (Northern India and Iran.) The Aryan as Nordic type (blonde haired and blue-eyed) was an idea Hitler made fun of privately as recorded in the book “Tabletalks.” Unlike Allied Propaganda trumpeted, this was a fringe notion among some Nazis (unfortunately, Himmler the head of the SS was one of them, so they were not without some power.) Also, the tall blond haired blue eyed “all American” broad chested farmer looked good on posters so Goebbels used it a lot too adding fuel to the propaganda fire. THAT is all a deep dive that I don’t want to go into here – you can read Stolfi’s Hitler Beyond Evil and Tyranny and I could recommend other books if you want to go there. Anyway, I believe you not only need to “Know Your Enemy” but you need to have accurate information and American News and much of our history is inaccurate (for instance there were some real dark events in the Civil War in America and some of its consequences seriously eroded our freedoms and changed this country but “the elite” emphasize slavery and present it as “the issue” so that most people don’t look any closer). I think we could learn more from History by being honest about it. Propaganda is for war time, not for history books.
Also, maybe instead of just babbling that Hitler was Evil Incarnate we could study him and the Nazis to discover how that all went so horribly wrong rather than by making it into some “fictitious boogey man lie.” Apparently, the Allied lies were so fragile that we had to burn all their records and classify Hitler’s home movies because the truth might destroy the lie that was built. In fact, people might start to ask uneasy questions, like why did France and Britain declare war on Hitler’s Germany for invading Poland when Germany AND Russia invaded Poland in 1939? If they were “standing on principle” and supporting their treaties with Poland then why didn’t they declare war on Communist Russia too? Or was the war because when the National Socialists reformed Germany the value of the German economy increased 95% but the banking industry connected with banks in France and Britain only gained 10-15% in that value. The “new” German socialism bypassed normal banking procedures and forbade bankers making money on money. The National Socialists believed that creativity, labor, and goods were of primary value and money was just a symbol of that value not a value in itself. So, was there perhaps something in their economic system that posed a threat to the dominance of the London Banking/Financial Empire and he International Monetary system? An interesting question that I cannot dig into here today.
Someday, also, I think we need to know how National Socialism reached a point that its leaders thought extermination of Jews could even be discussed as a rational idea. How did a man who took his paints and easel with him to World War One and who stopped in the middle of an artillery barrage to pick up a small white dog cowering in fear, hide it under his coat, and only after that to continue to run through the explosions and carry the pup with him into the bomb shelter (the pup became their unit “mascot.”) How did that man become the Hitler who exterminated six million Jews? THAT is something we need a REAL answer to and not some mishmash of half-truths and outright lies that warp and twist what really happened into something that was useful to war time propaganda. A propaganda picture that was so fragile it has to be propped up by lies and needs real documents destroyed. I believe in Truth, not propaganda. But I also know how you can lie WITH facts and data by omission of key truths. Still, I believe that the truth is mighty and will win out in the end.
Some have written and want to know more about who I am. I don’t like to talk about myself, except to mention my training so new readers know my opinions are based on my training and experiences and not just someone who thinks “everyone is entitled to my opinion.” Even as a pastor, I used to marvel that people would actually gather to listen to my exposition on the scriptures every week, I don’t see why the details of my life would be interesting to anybody. Anyway, the VA gave me some drugs for my back pain and sent me home and I have not been able to write or concentrate. Originally it was due to a dizzying pain and now it’s because of the meds. Tonight is the first night I have been able to even try to write coherently.
I am sorry that we are bouncing all over but the meds make it hard to hold a though together. That is why we are just talking and not really doing anything but getting to know each other a little better. Thus, we have a stream of consciousness thing going. Just talking with friends. You who have chosen to visit me in my convalescence.
It’s not like this is new. I have been hospitalized 3 times for my back injury since 1984 and gone to the emergency room at least 3 or 4 more times where they didn’t admit me. For that reason, my article on Proverbs and “a good woman” has still not been finished. I am finally able to get up and write a little though and I wanted you to know that you were not forgotten. Today, I’m just chatting with you and sharing bits of my life. We will pick up again when I am better, hopefully by Wednesday when I can give you the quality work that you deserve. For now, I am still heavily medicated so if I ramble, forgive me.
Everyone has pain in their back but mine is a compounded situation that cannot easily be operated on. Right now, I can walk. If the operation doesn’t work out, I won’t be able to. The VA doctors advised me to endure the pain as long as I can before resorting to surgery because that would be a dice roll. I’m not asking for Sympathy, it’s just the facts. My back pain is a serious disability and not your run of the mill “back ache.” I won’t go into all the details but there are three specific issues and together they are relatively inoperable, so I just live with the pain. Actually, since it happened when I was 24 I really don’t remember what it was like not to hurt.
I apologize again to anyone who arrived here looking for a Reforging the Foundations/What Your Father Should Have Taught You post. Many times I have not posted at all rather than post something rushed or unverified. A couple months ago my back started to get worse and this last week I did something to my back. As you know, I am a disabled vet and I was injured in the military, and I have a service-connected disability. It was not in combat. I am an old Cold Warrior; I injured it working on armored personnel carriers when I was stationed in Germany. The pain got so intense I had to go to the VA Emergency Room this weekend and I am a bit befuddled by the pain and the meds so I am not writing a regular post.
My mind needs to be sharp to do the analysis you deserve. I have several articles that I think are ready, but it takes about 8 hours to post, do the final edit, and match up the memes and I don’t feel I can do as professional a job as I want to. So, here is a story about how I got here.
After I injured my back in the motor pool of 3rd Squadron, 8th Cavalry, I was taken my military ambulance to Heidelberg Army Hospital and was in the hospital for a few days. That was the first time I had to go to the hospital for my back. Not counting emergency room visits I have been hospitalized for it 3 times now. So, again we are not talking just ” a backache” here (since everyone has back pain most people who don’t know me are quick to say something stupid like, “Yeah I hurt my back golfing once and I just pushed through it.”) No one knows what another person is going through.
In fact, when I went in for my appendicitis and later for my liver transplant surgery, they told me to “ask for pain meds” when I needed it. (Now, as I said, no one can really know how bad someone else’s pain is, even when you say what level of pain you are at to the nurse it is subjective. However, for surgeries I feel that doctors and nurses probably have an idea of how much pain and average person can take and how many meds they normally use in recovery.) So far, I have had five separate nurses and/or doctors who looked at my chart after a surgery and commented something like: “You seem to have an unusually high tolerance for pain.” So, I tell them I hurt my back when I was 24 and have been in pain to one degree or another every day of my life since. I actually don’t remember what it felt like not to be in constant pain.
As I said, I’m not looking for sympathy here, I’m “just sayin’ ” When I got out of my liver transplant and was in Intensive Care we got to where they wanted me to use a “potty chair” by the bed. The nurse said, they wanted me to try to use the chair if I could. I was to try to get off the bed, if I could, and use it and if I needed help, she and an orderly she brought with her would help me (I’m not a small man, over six foot 226 lbs.) So, very, very slowly (and stopping to catch my breath on the edge of the bed because the pain made me miss a breath or two,) I got up took one step to the chair, sat down and used it and got back in bed.
The nurse looked at me and said, “Wow. I’ve never seen anyone able to get up and use the poddy chair this soon after transplant surgery.”
“Well, you told me to try to do it on my own so I did,” I answered.
“Yeah, you were supposed to try. I’ve just never seen anyone actually able to do it without help.”
“Well, I was a United States Army Drill Sergeant and no stranger to pain. No Brag, Just Fact.”
I know SabersEDGE will never have mass appeal, it’s not meant to. It’s addressed to you the leaders and future leaders of the people and to those who will parent the next generation. It is you who will influence where we go long after I am gone. My target audience are people like you who want to think about things and actually do something to fix the problem!
Unfortunately, those people are a minority. There is a group called “3 Percenters” who use “III” as their symbol. They say that only 3% of Americans actually fought for freedom marching in the footsteps of those like George Washington in the North or Nathaniel Green or Francis Marion in the South. I hope the number is not that low, but we don’t yet have even 3% of the people of America reading SabersEdge so we still have work to do. I went on for a while in the Cav (after I got out of the Army Hospital in Heidelberg,) but then thought that if I don’t switch to a less “physical” MOS (Military Occupational Specialty – I think they call it something different now but they still have 19 Delta Cavalry Scout – I was a 19D3xP4 Cavalry Scout/TOW Gunner/Drill Sergeant before I became a 97B). When I switched, I became a Counterintelligence Special Agent.
There is an interesting story there. I read an article in the US Army Times when I was in Germany at Coleman Barracks that they were expanding the Counterintelligence Corps to fight the Soviet Union. They made a big deal that “we are doing our wartime mission NOW.” That attracted me. We worked hard in the Cav, but SFC Knowles knew (he had a Nickname, “the Bear” they called him, he was amazingly strong but didn’t look it. He was solid but you didn’t look at him and think Conan. In fact, when he smiled or laughed you thought more of a teddy bear. – but that is another story. He was unbelievably strong, easy to get alonng with and generally cheerful.) Anyway, he knew that I was dissatisfied and not feeling challenged and I felt like, for all our work and exercises, we were just sitting around waiting for war to break out. So, CI attracted me. I always planned to give my life to the US Army and retire from there and my back was becoming bad enough I didn’t want to make it worse and keep me from staying in my 20 or 40 years in the service. God had other plans, I guess.
Anyway, I figured that, because of the activities on post I thought we might have a CI office on post. I went to the base headquarters and wondered down the hallway. Now, if you haven’t been in the military every room is numbered and usually has a plaque on the door or above it stating what is in the office. I came to a room where the window was blacked out and the only sign was a small Mad Magazine Cartoon of “Spy vs. Spy.” I knocked on the door and an older Gentleman in a suit opened the door just enough for him to see out but so I couldn’t see in. Looking a little surprised, he asked what I wanted.
“I want to become a Counterintelligence Special Agent,” I said. He looked even more surprised but then opened the door and invited me in. As we talked another agent came in and he told him that I wanted to become a CI Agent.
“Is he smart enough?” the new fellow asked.
“Well, he found us.” The agent said.
And thus, a new chapter of my life opened. I went back to my unit and sometime later an orderly came running up to me in the motor pool and in front of everyone said, “Brak (my nickname,) what the hell did you do?”
“Nothing, that I know of. Just doing vehicle maintenance.”
“Well HQ just got orders that you are supposed to report to the Counterintelligence office ASAP.” He said, then, “What are you doing?”
“Putting my stuff away.”
“We’ll take care of that you go!”
I remember my credentials, wish I could get a copy. They said, “This person represents the United States Department of Defense on Intelligence and Security matters. The government of the United States of America enjoins you to render any assistance they request.” Of course, we weren’t supposed to show them to anyone and get as much done as we could without revealing who we were. But if the shite hit the fan, we could pull them out.
So, I moved from the Cavalry to Counterintelligence. They had the paperwork ready for me to sign for my clearance investigation and request to transfer and an order to allow me to re-enlist for this MOS (which wasn’t open to just anyone at the time.) Although an SBI – Special Background Investigation can take a year or more to complete and goes back through your entire life. You can get a Top-Secret clearance with a Backround Investigation (BI) because I needed access not only to Top Secret but Sensitive Compartmented Information SCI, and that required the more detailed SBI to grant. This is what they call “Levels Above Top Secret.” (Although, technically, its compartments with limited access in Top Secret.) Some of the programs I was read onto, including some Black Programs I cannot even name. For instance, I can tell you I had access to SI and TK but if I told you what those letters actually stook for, I could go to prison. I had other clearances and worked on some of what are called “Black” projects.
Long ago I vowed to Preserve and Protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. I believe that, among those enemies are lies, deceit, and propaganda.
